As a J6 patriot and frontline warrior with MAGA and Trump (multiple rallies, etc), I share your disappointment, Alexander, but, at the same time, am encouraged by the Alaska Summit. It is unfair that Russia has to continually carry the Cross for humanity’s salvation (nothing less than that)! Jesus shed his blood for us declaring, “Father forgive them they know not what they do.” I promise you that I will do everything in my power, in prayer and action, to stand in the gap, while living here in America, at the cost of my own life, to fight for God’s righteousness victory on the macrocosmic level. GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED! JESUS CHRIST IS KING!!

World leaders send 18 year old kids to kill each other so they can sit in their ivory towers and lord over more land. These world leaders are childish and evil. People just want to live their lives in peace. world governments just kill people.

IDK-Italy, France and Now Germany have recoiled from sending troops into Ukraine so Trump now considers US "peace keepers" which Russia will reject since the US started all this years ago and Trump 1 was part of it, not to mention Russia's 1.3 million man army, experienced, dedicated and proficient to defend its homeland against ambivalent invaders.

The reality is that Europe has no army, no money and relies on the US which is deeply divided, over extended and deeply in debt.

Europe is realizing what Zelensky and Netanyahu should have known from the start: the Hotel Saigon Syndrome. America can alays leave. Zelensky and Natenyahu can't and neither can Mr. Putin or Pezeshkian.

Israel is facing major collapse as well and will likely end up ruined like Ukraine, getting into wars it can't fight by itself. Zohran Memdani as NYC mayor, with its large Jewish population, is the portent of things to come. The Left usually benefits from unpopular not to say unjust wars.

So yes, MAGA have not just fragmented but failed over its entire agenda which appears to be nothing but new lipstick on the same old pig, a new jingo façade for a failing liberal empire.

It is the definition of madness to believe that evil will change. Man should always ask the question of who is in charge?

The mad man or the bad man have the same outcome which evil always keeps in control.

President Trump leaving it up to Europe would be good since Europe alone doesn’t currently have very capable militaries… and as the West turns on its left, Europe will be able to and their populace is at odds with their governments. It is less direct but it would effectively make the war show the inadequacy of liberal leaders in Europe.

I also do not believe the administration equates multipolarity to not competing, so they will continue to do so with China. This affects Russia since they have been aligned and understandably so… which is why he can’t directly just end it. If he is going to end it, leaving it to European leaders while continuing changes here will help to basically undermine all liberal European politicians. So the US becoming more isolationist with this war is actually the best for actual multipolarity. Let’s hope he leaves it to European leaders and then continues to undermine liberals here, which will undermine them there on both ends (a war no one wants and uprising socially of opposition to their anti European policies).

Meeting with Zelensky makes sense. He’s the President so meeting with the ridiculous head of Ukraine would look bad if he didn’t. Trump seems to not like to give away his positions ahead of time so it will be interesting to see how that goes. In the past, he’s been more hostile with Zelensky.

Europeans that are capable of fighting seem more upset with their own governments and not interested in a war with Russia.

I do think deep state has quite a hold in the US, and it will take a little time to see how it unfolds. I was skeptical over Trump but his actions do seem to be opposing deep state… I do believe it’s likely more complex than it appears from the outside. We have a fairly complex legal system that’s over time diminished the power of the executive and too much too fast will cause courts to rule against him. Clearing deep state out would be a process.

With the Communist USSR peace with the Deep State West was possible. With today's Russia, peace is impossible.

The good news for Russia is that the West is over extended and in terminal decline. America will never be free of the pestilence.

"There are no grounds whatsoever for concluding a peace that would satisfy us, even by the most minimal criteria, nor is there any hint of such grounds."

And yet, Putin is going to meet with Zelensky and discuss a peace agreement. So by your logic, Putin is betraying Russia.

Weird how you don't understand politics at all. Trump and Putin have to keep up appearances. They have to say and do things they don't really want to but are politically necessary. Putin doesn't want to be seen as a warmonger. He has to say he's for peace and an end to the killing. What has actually been agreed to? What actions have been taken? None. You're getting your panties in a bunch over nothing. They'll hold their meetings and they'll have talks and meanwhile Russia can continue the war. Hopefully, they speed it up a bit. Three years to conquer a shithole like Ukraine is embarrassing.

The meeting was pointless. Alaska was pointless, close to worthless.

Putin non può fidarsi degli europei, hanno troppe volte sabotato gli accordi, Trump non può che lavarsene le mani, e vendere le armi all'Europa.
