Pursuit of the Grail – Gifts #3
I really enjoyed this and found it very thought-provoking... In Glastonbury, very close to the old cathedral you mentioned, there's also the 'Chalice Well', where the water is said to be sacred and healing. According to the legends, the Chalice Well (at the bottom of Glastonbury Tor) is the exact place where Joseph of Arimathea placed the Chalice/Holy Grail and it is considered to be holy by many people, including Christians and Pagans alike. It's a very revered place - people go there to pray, meditate and make offerings, even to this day. It's also in the area that locals believe was the original 'Avalon' of King Arthur.
