I think it's most interesting that people would still think something like Milei is anything but an actor expert only in "making money". Private accumulation of public wealth by force, corruption or deceiving. All levels of "west" thought are so corrupted and self eating that can't interpret reality at all.
This is a very sobering, pessimistic view of developments, although I fear Mr. Vogel may be right (his experience in Argentina is undisputed). Milei is entirely too pro-Zionist to be trusted. Still, might this not be a small step in the right direction? Plus, there is the *possibility* that economic reform might pave the way for other, deeper, reforms needed to protect Argentina from predatory elites.
