Modern-day politicians come at you with lies on par with those of Baron Munchausen and smile with about as much sincerity as a cobra ready to strike, all while asking to be taken seriously as self-appointed saints who are the enemies of fallacy and protectors of truth. Similar to how most state/corporate news media anoint themselves in like fashion, their being just about as believable and just as sincere while asking the same.
I think what's happening in politics has a metaphysical relevance. It tests the threshold we have for tolerating anti-traditional phenomena. Try to imagine our ancestors, even few decades ago, tolerating people like K. Harris, Biden, etc., and even Trump. Impossible.
That's why Evola's apoliteia is significant. You cannot take those people in politics and politics in general seriously.
Either these people are great actors, or they are put in that position by some much serious people, or we can immediatelly commit collective suicide because it cannot get worse than this.
