There is no replacement for the friend/enemy distinction and steel in the spine. Giving away the fruits of victory before they are even in hand is weakness of the most appalling sort.

Yes. Very, very true.

“Conservatism” implies that we hope to return to a past. But we need to grow a better future. By “grow”, I mean the freedom to allow things to change. Less control and more spontaneous order. Leftists have long been in control of the media and academia. By their control, they have stultified science and philosophy. They are preventing us from discovering the new truths. We can discover the new science and the new philosophy that will lead us into a better future.

Yes, we have been victimized by a tiny power-seeking clique whose control of media and the secret police have crafted a bubble of antinews in which to build their antireality for mass consumption; an alternate dimension which grew predictably more and more ridiculous to an outside perspective. Of course the inmates' suppression of disbelief began to fail when a free press developed beyond the clique's control.

Because-- This Is Very Important --because humans doing human stuff in aggregate always make autocrats look like the idiots they are. You just enjoy good ol' King Chuck while you've got him. Things are a-fixin' to change a bit.
