Brink of Dawn

Kaisarion urges Radical Traditionalists and their allies to channel their efforts towards reconstructing America and the West in the wake of the Liberal World Order’s defeat.

America stands at the brink of dawn. The Evolan Tiger, manifested as the Liberal World Order, has suffered a catastrophic defeat at the hands of the Trump coalition; besides we so-called “Radical Traditionalists,” this grouping includes masculine Patriots, neglected Proletarians, Christian Identitarians, White Identitarians, Classical Liberals, disillusioned Muslims, and even Marxist-Leninists who cannot suffer the Woke drivel any longer. Such strange company are these coalitioned cohorts, all enduring hypocritical abuses perpetrated by the neo-Liberals, ever with their noses in the air, screeching about tolerance while smothering any dissent or differentiation. And how untiringly these smug tyrants, institutional and corporate, have perpetrated these abuses! Daily if not hourly, in one manner or another, each of the cohorts are demonized, ostracized, or outright eliminated by the Liberal Order’s operatives who are allowed to act with relative impunity.

It is from these abuses, lasting decades with increasing fervor and severity, that many of us have come to resent America itself; and indeed, many of our criticisms apply to the Reagan era and earlier, when the underhanded tactics were concealed by a loyal media and ignored by a trusting populace. Such is the faithful spirit, and such was the fruit of the propaganda machine constructed in the Nineteen-Thirties and perfected during the Cold War. And how a Traditionalist could struggle to find merit in the notion of America anyway! For the United States was founded under the premise of Lockean thought, in violent rebellion against Monarchy, in the guise of Athenian democracy, championing egalitarianism; where can Tradition be found in that? And what element of Tradition was spared over the last eighty years, as the world has been enveloped and crushed by the Liberal Order’s interests, which is to say the interests of the Corporatists?

It would perhaps take a voluminous tome to contain my comprehensive grievances; but it is the dismissal — or at least suspension — of these grievances I now mean to encourage. Here at this crossroads of history, where the Liberal Order was either to be irrevocably enshrined or rocked to its very foundation, the American people, in a display of reason and wisdom I thought lost on most, in spite of the societal tendrils that throttle deviation from the approved narrative and dictates, chose the latter. How elated I am to have been proven wrong! Perhaps there is temporary and circumstantial usefulness in democratic procedure after all.

Consequentially, the new year holds the promise of not just a new America, but a new West; and it is precisely upon this promise I rest my reasoning, for what is gained from stewing over the past? Has bitterly cursing the specter of failure served the Fascists, who so crudely imitate Traditionalism, or American Southerners lamenting the “Lost Cause” of the Confederacy? What about ethnic Africans in their contempt for the West over the trans-Atlantic slave trade, have they been elevated by their seething? Yea still, what about us Celts? Are we any closer to reclaiming the bulk of Pritan, for all our animosity towards the Anglo crown?

Heed me: focus your resentment on active evils perpetrated by individuals, or peoples, or institutions, or even empires; and when the sources of these wrongdoings cease in their wickedness, either by their own cause or the imposition of the righteous, apply redresses and punishments only if it does not come at the expense of the greater good, that is to say, if these efforts do not ultimately prove detrimental or unduly burdensome upon the noble and their vehicles, then set the matter aside and move forth just as daybreak succeeds the witching hour. Understand justice is already applied at the cessation of evil, for fundamentally the end of un-Good is the start of Good, and while it is a virtue for recompense to be paid, the burden and gain of the virtue rests not upon the victim, but upon the wrongdoer; therefore, pursuing recompense solely for its own sake, reckless and abandoning of circumstantial realities, departs justice and becomes only revenge. Unbridled hatred festers within and rots the hater, not his adversaries. Do not become so unwittingly ruined.

And remember Master Socrates upon his deathbed! For wrongly condemned by Democracy he perished, yet in his last hours the Platonic forerunner refused to either renounce Athens or at least escape the doom of hemlock. To Master Socrates’s reasoning, he too bore responsibility for his fate, for Athens was his home-of-choice; he fought for the city, he chose its denizens for his teachings, and he willingly answered the judicial summons with time to spare. Does this not apply to us American nationals? Have we not built our lives here, and have we not made use of its resources? Are our families and friends not here, and is it not for their sake above our own that we struggle against Modernity? How could we damn the beauties and bounties of the land itself, for all our misgivings against the government and its dark philosophies? Can we not purify it as agents of the Divine Flame, rather than indiscriminately scorching it in an infernal rampage?

Our labors have not concluded; on the contrary, they have hardly even begun, for just as Caesar and Augustus reimagined Rome, so shall we reconceive America. Between now and that hour when Donald Trump reassumes the Presidency, let us release our grudges and thus break those chains that bind us to lowly human inclinations. Only by training our minds on the Good might we perceive the Tiger’s weakest points and finish the terror off.
