Iryna ... Not Chicago. Charlotte, North Carolina.

Although I do not disagree with what you say, I think the preamble is incorrect. "Historically, Western Civilization has existed as a unity. From the Greek alliance against the Persians, to Rome, to the Crusades, the West has found its highest expression when it fights as one."

The Greek alliance fighting the Persians cannot be considered the supreme representative (certainly not at that time, even if accepted chronology is correct) of "Western Civilization." The term itself is a new invention and cannot be projected back into history. The Crusades also include the genocidal campaigns against the Cathars, which in itself proves that "Western Civilization" was far from being a unity. Then there are Wars of Religion in the 16th and 17th centuries.

Europe has always been a violent little continent and the recent rise in violent crime as a result of the mass invasion of enemies from hellholes abroad only serves to underline that violence is a main feature of "Western CIvilization." Europe has for centuries been a net exporter of violence.

The last person really trying to save Europe was an Austrian painter. For whatever reason, England and Russia disliked him and organized a war to destroy him and most of Europe.

Basically, Europe has never ben united. That may actually be the essence of it, that it just cannot be united. Just look at the disaster that is the EU.

Have the tribes of Africa ever been united? Have the nations of the Middle East ever been united? Have the nations of the Far East ever been united?

No.

However, we view them as unique civilizations in their own right. As the world becomes smaller and more globalized, we will realize we have far more in common with each other than we do with these other civilizations.

The nations of the Near East were united for a long time as part of the Ottoman Empire.

Native Europeans (leaving out those with an "immigration background") have a lot in common, but there will always remain insurmountable differences and deep dividing lines. Plus there are sometimes strong ties with other places. Italians tend to have more in common with Argentinians and Uruguayans than with Danes or Estonians. One third of Indonesians has Dutch ancestors, and millions of Dutch have Indonesian roots, etc. etc.

The murderer of Iryna is black. The people on that train who did nothing are black. Say it. It matters.

It doesn't matter. Race is not real. And that guy was seriously mentally ill. Seriously. He did not have a cause really except his own madness. I was on a bus the other day and everyone was Black. The bus driver and a woman broke out in a nasty argument that escalated fast. Some of us said something but in this day and age, most people are not going to intervene in America in disputes. Too many guns in America. I did say something but I was in no position to totally defuse it. I kept thinking it was going to end violently and was looking for an escape. America is a a toxic place most of all.

Globalists are pushing hard for their civil war. Don´t rule it out. Especially when the assassinations continue.

I would hardly say we have a civil war, but rather civil confusion - governments fail to provide the leadership needed, but at the same time block and obstruct genuine voices from the bottom. Add to it the Cronos-like grip on the economy and we have growing impotence of the continent in face of ever-more drastic changes in the world. Europe needs to chart a fresh course for itself, shedding any and all obligations and declarations that chain it to the old Atlantic order.

Charlie Kirk is not in the same category as Iryna. And the man who killed Irnya possessed not the mental state to be part of a cause. He was mentally ill. The judge should have held him in a mental health facility. However, his lawyer probably advocated for his release and the prosecution likely could not prove he was mentally unstable at the time of the hearing. Still, in hindsight, the judge, by releasing him did make the wrong call. However, I have to disagree with putting Charlie Kirk with her. She was just an ordinary citizen killed for no reason. Kirk was killed for a reason by a kid who was MAGA but also had different views on sexuality than Kirk. Things are much more nuanced than we care to admit. Just because you have certain views on one topic does not mean you have to embrace the same views across the board. Socialists can be for free markets. MAGA can be for same sex relationships. There is complexity to the human condition.
