This is so interesting - and confirms what many in the US (pro Trump, and some libertarians of the Ron Paul stripe) that sanctions have made Russia stronger. Trump's tariffs are essentially auto-sanctions on the US, with the same aim of busting up the globalist order and strengthening US autonomy. In tandem there is acceptance and some embracing of dethroning the $ as the World reserve currency- replaced by gold or crypto or whatever. Vance has made some revealing statements to this effect.

I can say that despite what you might read in mass globalist media (by accident for sure since how can you avoid it)- tariffs are widely popular with working class (deplorable) Americans. I also want to touch on a cultural aspect that would be hard for Professor Dugin to voice: the American Dream is rugged. It needs to battle the elemental forces of nature and have a strong competitive cultural rival, and pussy Europe just doesn't cut it. During the Cold War, Russia was held in awe and respect in the US. Nuclear war was taken seriously, and detante was popular politically. Even Ronald Reagan - in his aggressive posturing - held this respect. It is important to note that Reagan had survived an ideological purging early in his career, a walk through fire, that Trump dealt with more harshly later in his. Purging by the American Nomenklatura. Trump's taking on of Harvard for example- this is 1000x more ballsy than taking on the CIA and USAID. Harvard, Columbia, Yale, Stanford... they are the trout farms for the US Nomenklatura. And he just pissed bleach into their water.
